Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team in Southampton. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. You will work closely with clients to address payroll queries and provide essential support for payroll-related concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee preparation and distribution of payroll checks.
  • Monitor payroll procedures and recommend best practices.
  • Conduct payroll audits and collaborate with external auditors.
  • Implement improvements in payroll processes and software.
  • Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries.

Requirements

Education
  • A-Level or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Payroll Management certification is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing
Technical Skills
  • Payroll software proficiency (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks)
  • Microsoft Excel
Soft Skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Communication skills
Certifications
  • CIPP Certification in Payroll Management
Languages
  • English: Fluent
