Job Description

We are looking for a Canteen Manager to oversee our busy kitchen operations and ensure exceptional food service to our employees. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of food safety regulations, and a commitment to providing a high-quality dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the canteen and ensure the quality of food service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to maintain performance standards.
• Conduct staff training and maintain proper training records.
• Manage stock levels and order supplies as necessary.
• Evaluate customer feedback and implement improvements where necessary.
• Collaborate with the senior management team to develop canteen policies.
• Implement new menu items and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Hospitality Management preferred
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certification required

Experience

• Experience managing budgets and financial planning

• Inventory Management

Certifications

• First Aid Certification is a plus
