We are seeking a Research Scientist to join our highly skilled team in Brighton. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting experiments, analysing results, and collaborating on innovative projects aimed at significant advancements in the biotechnology sector. You will be responsible for designing and executing research plans while adhering to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute research studies from conception through completion.
• Utilise various scientific methodologies to ensure robust results.
• Collaborate with other scientists on interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory standards and protocols.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and next steps.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior researchers.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Life Sciences or related discipline
• Master's degree with experience in a relevant research field will also be considered

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in academic or industrial research

Languages

• English: Fluent
