Job Description

As a Forging Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used for forging processes. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor forging equipment to ensure proper function.
• Identify and resolve mechanical faults or operational issues swiftly.
• Keep work areas clean and organised, following 5S principles.
• Train and mentor less experienced operators on best practices.
• Assist with quality assurance processes and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training or certification in machining or manufacturing is a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in forging or related machine operation.

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Basic knowledge of CNC operations: Familiarity with CNC machines and programming is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment: Experience working in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
