As a Desk Interviewer, you will be responsible for conducting interviews over the phone or via video. Your role is crucial in evaluating candidates for various positions, making sure that they are suitably fit for the opportunities at hand. You will use your expertise in recruitment to maintain the highest standards of the hiring process.

Job Responsibilities
  • Interview job applicants and gather essential information regarding their qualifications.
  • Evaluate responses and provide feedback to the recruitment team.
  • Ensure adherence to company interview protocols and confidentiality agreements.
  • Cooperate closely with team members to improve the interview procedures.
  • Monitor and report on market trends that influence recruitment strategies.
  • Utilise interview software effectively to streamline the process.
  • Engage with candidates in a friendly and professional manner to create a positive impression.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups with candidates regarding their application status.
  • Train new interviewers in best practices and methodologies.
  • Support the recruitment team in achieving departmental targets.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is advantageous
  • Interviewing Proficient in conducting structured interviews.
  • Software Proficiency Competent in using applicant tracking systems and interview software.
  • Strong Communication Excellent verbal communication skills to engage candidates effectively.
  • Active Listening Highly skilled in understanding candidate responses and asking follow-up questions.
  • English (Fluent)

  • Familiarity with Recruitment Software: Experience using various applicant tracking and recruitment platforms.
  • Certification in Interviewing Techniques: Possession of relevant certifications that enhance interviewing skills.
