Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Software Tester to join our quality assurance team in Wolverhampton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and resolving software defects, ensuring product quality through thorough testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement best testing practices to improve product reliability.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by providing test cases and assistance.
• Log and manage defect lifecycle effectively.
• Stay updated on emerging testing tools and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Master's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in quality assurance/testing

Technical Skills

• Test Management Tools
• Performance Testing

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• CQIA – Certified Quality Improvement Associate
• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with security testing: Knowledge of techniques and tools for conducting security testing.
• Exposure to cloud environments: Familiarity with testing in cloud-based applications.
