Job Description

We seek an experienced Animal Behaviorist who is passionate about animal welfare and behaviour modification. You will be conducting studies, implementing behavioural programmes, and contributing to community education concerning animal care and training.

Responsibilities

  • Research and review current literature on animal behaviour trends.
  • Work alongside conservation efforts to promote species welfare.
  • Conduct training sessions for caretakers on animal engagement techniques.
  • Provide expert input in the design of animal habitats and living spaces.
  • Collaborate with other researchers on multi-disciplinary projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Biology
  • Master's degree in Animal Behaviour or Veterinary Science is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with animals in a professional setting
