Tire Tester

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Tire Tester to join our dedicated Quality Control team. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of tests on tires, ensuring that all safety and quality standards are rigorously upheld. You'll be responsible for analysing test data, presenting your findings, and suggesting performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive testing on various tire types.
• Prepare detailed reports on test outcomes and insights.
• Work closely with product development to provide feedback on tire performance.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of testing devices.
• Implement best practices for tire testing and safety standards.
• Lead initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects to improve product quality.
• Respond to customer feedback related to tire performance and testing.
• Contribute to safety audits and compliance checks.
• Stay updated with the latest tire testing methodologies and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in tire testing or related field

Technical Skills

• Understanding of testing regulations
• Statistical analysis software

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Effective time management

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Certification
• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with tire design and manufacturing processes: Hands-on experience in tire production.
• Project management experience: Ability to oversee testing projects effectively.
