Woodworking Craftsman

Job Description

As a Woodworking Craftsman at Craftsman Ventures Ltd., you'll be responsible for creating bespoke wooden products using a variety of tools and techniques. We require individuals with a strong foundation in woodworking and the ability to interpret designs and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Build bespoke furniture pieces tailored to client requirements and specifications.
• Manage the selection and quality control of materials used in production.
• Utilise both hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
• Conduct repairs and refurbishments on existing wooden products as required.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and is delivered on time.
• Assist with the training and mentoring of apprentices or junior craftsmen.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and improvements.
• Keep detailed records of work completed and materials used.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in woodworking.

Requirements

Education

• Higher-level qualification in Carpentry or Woodworking

Experience

• Experience with bespoke/custom furniture is advantageous

• Woodworking Machinery

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with project management: Experience managing woodworking projects from inception to completion.
• Health and Safety Training: Valid health and safety training certification preferred.
