Job Description

As a Gas Leak Inspector Helper, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Gas Leak Inspector to perform daily inspections and maintenance of gas pipelines. Your ability to identify potential hazards will be essential in ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of hand-held gas detectors during inspections.
• Participate in assessing the safety of gas installations.
• Follow up on maintenance schedules and perform basic repairs.
• Contribute to the development of safety practices and protocols.
• Report any irregularities to the Gas Leak Inspector immediately.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in gas pipeline inspection and maintenance is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of GIS software
• Experience with hand-held gas detectors

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Gas Safe Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
