Job Description
As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients in their home settings. Your role will involve addressing individual patient needs, delivering compassionate care, and improving overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes while ensuring comfort.
Design patient care plans based on initial assessments and ongoing evaluations.
Administer prescribed medications and manage any side effects.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Monitor patients for changes in conditions and report findings promptly.
Educate patients on medication adherence and health management strategies.
Maintain a high level of professionalism while working independently.
Participate in continuous education and professional development initiatives.
Requirements
Education
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the UK
Certification in pediatric or geriatric nursing is an asset
Experience
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred, with experience in a home care environment being a strong advantage.
