Job Description

Join our Manchester office as a Tax Consultant and utilise your expertise in the taxation field to provide high-quality service to our clients. You will be tasked with preparing tax returns, advising on tax implications of various business decisions, and ensuring compliance with UK tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements for tax compliance.
• Prepare correspondence with tax authorities.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities for clients.
• Advise on VAT and corporate tax matters.
• Manage multiple client accounts and projects.
• Support the development of tax policies.
• Present tax advisory reports to clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or Accounting
• Postgraduate qualification in Taxation is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory services

Technical Skills

• Tax Software Proficiency
• Regulatory Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Client Relationship Management
• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• ACCA or ACA qualification is a plus
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) may be beneficial

Languages

• English: Fluent
