We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax law, compliance, and providing strategic advice to clients to optimise their tax positions. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions that align with their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax compliance and assist them in navigating tax audits.
• Evaluate clients’ financial situations and recommend appropriate tax strategies.
• Produce comprehensive reports and documentation to support tax positions.
• Collaborate with financial planners to ensure cohesive approaches to client financial goals.
• Attend client meetings to discuss tax strategies, compliance, and planning.
• Develop tax-related educational materials for client presentations.
• Monitor tax-related deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
• Participate in professional development and networking opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Master's degree in Taxation or related field is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a tax consulting environment

• Tax Legislation Knowledge

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• ACCA or CIMA qualification is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
