Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations in Leicester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, be adept at optimizing processes, and possess excellent leadership skills. You will manage the end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products while maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct the purchasing and procurement processes for materials.
• Develop relationships with key customers to understand their supply chain needs.
• Implement technology solutions to improve supply chain visibility.
• Conduct regular assessments of supply chain risks and opportunities.
• Facilitate communication between suppliers, logistics, and production teams.
• Oversee the team responsible for supply chain operations.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain team.
• Monitor market trends and adjust supply chain strategies accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
• MBA or master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in supply chain or logistics management
