As a Labor Relations Specialist, you will manage and resolve employee grievances and appeals effectively within our organisation. You play a pivotal role in fostering fair labour practices while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end workflow of grievances and appeals, ensuring all procedures and policies are followed.
Review and assess grievances and appeals filed by employees.
Conduct detailed investigations and gather pertinent evidence.
Guide and support employees throughout the grievance and appeal process.
Identify trends or recurring issues and propose recommendations.
Ensure documentation is maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
Provide training on conflict resolution and grievance handling to staff.
Analyze data to track the effectiveness of grievance resolution processes.
Stay current with changes in employment legislation and company policy.
Work closely with HR and management to drive employee engagement efforts.
Requirements
Education
Degree in Human Resources, Legal Studies, or a related field
Higher degree or qualifications in employment law desirable
Experience
Extensive knowledge of UK employment laws and grievance handling is essential.
