Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Glasgow team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence, as you will be responsible for developing and executing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, and reviewing system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Prepare and present testing reports to stakeholders.
• Assure the quality of applications by performing functional, non-functional, and regression tests.
• Engage in continuous learning and stay updated on QA best practices and industry standards.
• Mentor junior team members on QA methodologies and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing

Technical Skills

• API Testing
• Performance Testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Soft Skills

• Team Player
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Performance Testing Tools: Experience with tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
• Experience with Continuous Integration Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins or Travis CI for automated testing.
