Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Audio Production Engineer to join our talented team in Kilmarnock. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of sound engineering, mixing, and mastering, contributing to a range of exciting projects in the music and performing arts space.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate audio production for live and recorded events.
  • Develop audio production schedules and timelines.
  • Ensure quality control for all audio output.
  • Organize and maintain audio equipment inventory.
  • Create sound libraries for various projects.
  • Lead sound production meetings to discuss project requirements.
  • Advise on audio best practices and standards.
  • Contribute to the creative development of audio content.
  • Implement sound effects and audio branding strategies.
  • Evaluate and report on audio production effectiveness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Technology or a related field
  • Master's degree in Audio Production or a similar area is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in audio production roles
