Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Procurement Officer to strengthen our supply chain team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will oversee procurement processes, manage supplier relationships, and drive efficiency in procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop supplier selection criteria and lead supplier assessments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
  • Engage with suppliers to understand market trends and product developments.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Ensure the ethical sourcing of materials and services.
  • Conduct regular audits of supplier performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance overall supply chain operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
