Job Description
We are on the lookout for a skilled Procurement Officer to strengthen our supply chain team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will oversee procurement processes, manage supplier relationships, and drive efficiency in procurement strategies.
Responsibilities
Develop supplier selection criteria and lead supplier assessments.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
Engage with suppliers to understand market trends and product developments.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Ensure the ethical sourcing of materials and services.
Conduct regular audits of supplier performance against agreed KPIs.
Work with cross-functional teams to enhance overall supply chain operations.
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
