Job Description

As a Certified Occupational Rehabilitation Aide (CORA), you will play a vital role in supporting occupational therapists with rehabilitation services. You will assist patients in improving their daily living skills and functional independence, while working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Support occupational therapists in assessing and documenting patients' health needs.
  • Conduct therapeutic exercises under supervision to aid rehabilitation.
  • Assist patients with adaptive equipment and ensure safety during exercises.
  • Document patient responses and progress for review.
  • Engage patients in rehabilitation activities tailored to their needs.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe working environment in therapy areas.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a Certified Occupational Rehabilitation Aide (CORA)
Experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
