Job Description

We are seeking empathetic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team and support students from preschool to secondary levels. In this role, you will provide crucial support in the classroom, guiding students in their learning and helping them to thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities

• Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.
• Provide individual attention to students, ensuring all needs are met.
• Help set up and maintain classroom equipment and resources.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to student assessment.
• Encourage student participation and foster a love for learning.
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
• Form positive relationships with students to support their welfare.
• Help prepare students for exams and assessments.
• Contribute to the development of a safe and inclusive classroom.
• Work closely with other staff and agencies to support student needs.

Requirements

Education

• Level 3 or higher qualification in Education/Child Development

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in educational settings

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of curriculum standards
• Proficient in educational software

Soft Skills

• Patience
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in after-school programmes: Working experience in extracurricular or after-school activities.
• Understanding of child protection policies: Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
