Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Industrial Audiologist to assess and manage hearing conservation initiatives in industrial workplaces. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology and extensive experience in conducting audiometric testing.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the auditory health of employees through comprehensive testing.
  • Implement proactive strategies for hearing conservation in noisy environments.
  • Train staff on the importance of hearing safety and proper equipment use.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance workplace safety.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of hearing conservation programs.
  • Provide expert advice on noise control measures in facilities.
  • Liaise with occupational health professionals to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all audiometric tests conducted.
  • Develop educational materials on hearing health and safety.
  • Participate in health and safety committees as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctoral degree in Audiology preferred
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical or industrial audiology preferred.
