Job Description

As a Mental Health Specialist, you will provide expert care and support to individuals facing mental health challenges. Your role involves conducting assessments, creating tailored treatment plans, and collaborating with a diverse team to ensure holistic care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify mental health concerns and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during acute episodes.
  • Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and participate in case conferences to ensure integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of mental health.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health programs.
  • Provide education and support to clients' families and caregivers.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or related field
  • Valid professional registration (e.g., HCPC, BACP)
Experience
  • Proven experience working as a Mental Health Specialist or similar role.
