Job Description

As an Ophthalmic Medical Technologist, you will coordinate and schedule surgical procedures while liaising with medical personnel to ensure resources are available. Your role will involve managing patient appointments, providing education, and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the coordination of surgical procedures and patient care.
  • Facilitate communication with surgeons and anaesthesiologists.
  • Ensure all necessary surgical supplies are stocked and ready for use.
  • Provide administrative support to enhance the efficiency of surgical operations.
  • Monitor patient records and ensure they are accurately maintained.

Requirements

Education
  • Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
Experience
  • Experience in surgical coordination is preferred.
