Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Back Grinder to join our team. This role involves operating grinding machines to shape and finish metal workpieces with precision. Attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate precision grinding machines with a focus on detail.
• Validate that all products meet the quality standards set forth.
• Manage machine setup and tool adjustments as needed.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety protocols.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions.
• Assist in training other staff on machine operation and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional vocational training is an advantage

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with quality control processes
• Experience with precision grinding techniques

Soft Skills

• Strong work ethic
• Critical thinking skills

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CNC machines: Experience in operating CNC machinery alongside traditional grinding.
