Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic Cashiers to join our busy supermarket team. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our store, responsible for handling transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean checkout area.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist during the checkout process.
• Ensure high standards of customer service by addressing customer concerns.
• Accurately handle financial transactions and maintain the integrity of the cash register.
• Keep the checkout area neat and free of unnecessary clutter.
• Work closely with other staff to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Assist in merchandise displays and product placements.
• Stay informed about store promotions and products to inform customers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Take an active role in team meetings and suggest improvements.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required

Experience

• Experience in retail or hospitality preferred.
