As the Fleet Manager at our Watford location, you will oversee our fleet operations, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations. You will lead our team in sourcing, maintaining, and managing vehicles that support our non-profit initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of all vehicles in the fleet.
  • Evaluate vehicle performance and manage replacement schedules.
  • Create and manage budgets for fleet expenditures.
  • Implement best practices for fuel management and efficiency.
  • Organize driver training sessions focusing on safety and compliance.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for vehicle servicing.
  • Prepare regular reports on fleet performance metrics.
  • Participate in strategic planning for fleet expansion and improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations regarding fleet operations.
  • Assist in crisis management involving fleet logistics.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or related field
  • Professional certifications in fleet management are preferred
  • Fleet Management Software Proficient in using fleet management software for tracking and optimizing fleet operations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance In-depth understanding of vehicle maintenance processes and standards.
  • Leadership Strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
  • Communication Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration.
  • Fleet Management Certification (FMC)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles: Understanding of the operational requirements for electric and hybrid fleets.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations: Familiar with regulations that affect fleet operations and sustainability.
