Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Transcription Manager to lead our transcription team and ensure the accurate and timely transcription of audio and video recordings. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in managing a team and a deep understanding of transcription processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the transcription team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Allocate transcription tasks to team members based on expertise and workload capacity.
  • Ensure adherence to transcription guidelines and quality standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate the accuracy and quality of transcriptions.
  • Implement and maintain efficient transcription workflows.
  • Collaborate with clients to clarify their transcription requirements.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to address challenges and provide feedback.
  • Maintain records of transcription projects, including client details and completed transcriptions.
  • Stay informed of industry advancements in transcription technology.
  • Manage relationships with external transcription vendors when applicable.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5 years in transcription management or similar role.
