Job Description

We are looking for a Trade Compliance Specialist to join our Bristol team. The successful candidate will ensure that all trade activities comply with UK regulations and international standards, while also providing guidance on trade compliance matters to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all trade activities align with UK and EU regulatory frameworks.
• Handle compliance inquiries from internal teams and provide timely resolutions.
• Work with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure compliance in the transport of goods.
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings to promote compliance awareness.
• Review and implement compliance software and tools for efficiency.
• Maintain records of compliance training and audits conducted.
• Collaborate with external consultants on trade compliance matters as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in International Law or Business

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in trade compliance roles

• Customs Procedures

Certifications

• Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with SAP compliance modules: Familiarity with SAP systems used in trade compliance management.
• Knowledge of international trade agreements like INCOTERMS: Understanding of trade agreements and how they impact compliance.
