Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Technical Support Engineer to join our Edinburgh team. The ideal candidate will have experience in resolving IT issues and providing exceptional support to our clients. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our services and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide support for cloud-based services and applications.
  • Assist in deployment and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Work closely with vendors for hardware and software issues.
  • Conduct user training and workshops on new technologies.
  • Implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Evaluate customer feedback to improve service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) are advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience providing technical support
Technical Skills
  • Active Directory and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn)
Soft Skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Attention to detail
Certifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
