Ice Skating Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Ice Skating Teacher to instruct individuals and groups of all ages in the essential skills of ice skating. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching and a firm command of various skating techniques, enabling students to skate confidently on ice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ice skating lessons and workshops for individuals and groups.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
• Encourage and motivate students to achieve their skating goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during lessons and activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Attend team meetings and provide input on lesson planning.
• Monitor student performance and suggest improvements.
• Promote a love for ice skating through creative lesson planning.

Requirements

Education

• Ice skating certification (e.g. Skate UK, Ice Skating Institute)
• Teaching or coaching qualification (e.g. PTT, PGCE) preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in teaching ice skating
