Job Description

A Tack Puller is responsible for removing and installing tacks used for upholstery work. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance of tools.
• Assist in inventory management of upholstery materials.
• Monitor and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with different departments in support of production goals.

Requirements

Education

• Training or experience in upholstery or related field (preferred)

Experience

• Previous experience as a Tack Puller or similar role is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Experience with different types of tacks
• Ability to use different types of tack pulling tools

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail
• Physical stamina

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to use industrial sewing machines: Experienced in operating sewing machines for upholstery projects.
• Experience with inventory management: Capable of tracking and managing upholstery materials supply.
