Job Description

The Betting Clerk will be responsible for accepting and processing bets for customers in the betting industry. Successful candidates will possess excellent customer service skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accepting and processing customer bets in a timely manner.
  • Advising customers on betting options and odds.
  • Supervising the betting area and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Using betting software and systems effectively.
  • Assisting in training new staff members.
  • Maintaining daily betting records and reports.
  • Providing feedback to management on customer service improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • No previous experience required, although customer service experience is advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Point of Sale (POS) systems
