We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our dedicated team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining mechanical equipment, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair various mechanical systems.
• Conduct inspections and diagnose issues in machinery.
• Support engineering teams in developing maintenance procedures.
• Ensure effective communication of maintenance activities.
• Collaborate on safety improvements in the workplace.
• Participate in equipment testing and validation.
• Train new technicians on maintenance processes.

• Enhance technical skills through ongoing training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting

Technical Skills

• Electrical Systems Understanding

Certifications

• NEBOSH Certificate in Safety Management

Languages
