Job Description

As an Irrigation Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing irrigation systems, ensuring the efficient distribution of water for agricultural and landscaping projects. Your role will involve supervising a team, scheduling irrigation activities, and maintaining equipment to optimise water usage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day irrigation operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and standards.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs for irrigation systems to maximize uptime.
• Implement sustainable practices in irrigation management.
• Provide insights and suggestions for improving irrigation processes.
• Evaluate the performance of the irrigation team, providing feedback and support.
• Develop training materials for new team members on irrigation systems and equipment.
• Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for irrigation projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Environmental Science is preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in irrigation management or equivalent.
