As a Pet Groomer at our Glasgow salon, you will enjoy working in a fun and friendly environment. The role involves grooming pets, communicating with owners, and ensuring a pleasant experience for every furry client that comes through our doors.

Responsibilities

• Perform all grooming services including washing, trimming, and styling pets.
• Ensure that pets are comfortable and calm during grooming sessions.
• Engage with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and preferences.
• Maintain hygiene standards within the grooming area.
• Examine pets for skin conditions or other health issues.
• Provide post-grooming advice to pet owners on maintaining their pet's coat.
• Adapt grooming techniques based on the specific needs of different pet breeds.
• Train and mentor junior grooming staff when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in pet grooming is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in pet grooming
