Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Health Promoter to join our team. This position involves collaborating with various community groups to deliver health promotion strategies aimed at enhancing public health and improving access to health resources.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage health education initiatives in collaboration with community stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops that promote health literacy and empower individuals to make informed decisions.
  • Assess the impact of health promotion strategies through surveys and community feedback.
  • Provide training and support to volunteers and staff involved in health promotion.
  • Work with local media to raise awareness of health initiatives and resources.
  • Monitor and report on program outcomes to inform future health promotion strategies.
  • Advocate for systemic changes to improve community health resources.
  • Encourage participation in health screenings and preventive care activities.
  • Develop informational materials that are accessible and culturally relevant.
  • Engage in networking with other health professionals to share experiences and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, or a related field
Experience
  • Prior experience in health promotion or a similar role is preferred.
