Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Galley Stripper to join our team. As a Galley Stripper, you will be responsible for dismantling and removing equipment from galleys on aircraft. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently within strict timeframes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of galley equipment prior to disassembly.
  • Document the condition of equipment being stripped to maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in training new team members on galley stripping processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety.
  • Report any safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Assist with packing and transporting stripped items as needed.
  • Support the Operations Manager in achieving departmental goals.
  • Respond to instructions from the Operations Manager and adjust workflow accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant vocational training or certification in aviation maintenance is a plus
Experience
  • Experience working in aviation maintenance or a related field is beneficial
Technical Skills
  • Basic understanding of occupational health and safety regulations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
Soft Skills

  • Strong organizational skills
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous
