Job Description

As an Audio and Video Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining audiovisual equipment crucial for events. You'll collaborate closely with event planners and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of presentations and experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Set up projectors, screens, and sound systems according to event specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks on audiovisual equipment prior to events.
  • Provide on-site technical support to clients and event organisers.
  • Keep an accurate log of equipment usage and conditions.
  • Assist in training junior technicians on best practices and new equipment.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of complex events involving multiple audio-visual setups.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma
  • Technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus
Experience
  • 1-3 years experience with live events or in a technical role
Technical Skills
  • Sound Engineering
  • Lighting Control Systems

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of digital audio workstations: Familiar with software for audio editing and production.
