Recreation Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Recreation Worker to assist in planning and coordinating leisure activities for our residents. The ideal candidate will enhance the emotional and mental well-being of patients through engaging and thoughtful activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and organization of resident activities.
• Encourage patient engagement and participation in group activities.
• Provide one-on-one support for individuals requiring additional assistance.
• Help with the setup and cleanup of activities.
• Maintain records of resident participation and feedback.
• Attend training sessions and assist with staff development.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant training in healthcare or recreation is preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a healthcare or care home setting is preferred
