Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Bearing Ring Assembler to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in assembling bearing rings with precision based on provided specifications. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the assembly process.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components into bearing rings as per engineering specifications.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of finished assemblies for compliance and quality.
  • Utilize hand tools and mechanical equipment effectively.
  • Ensure workplace safety and cleanliness at all times.
  • Achieve daily / weekly production goals.
  • Engage in cross-training with colleagues to improve skills.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies during assembly.
  • Keep detailed logs of production activities and any issues encountered.
  • Join and contribute to continuous improvement workshops.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational training in mechanical assembly or a related field preferred
Experience
  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly is desirable but not necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.
Technical Skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings

Advantageous

  • Experience in operating machinery: Hands-on experience in working with assembly machines.
