Job Description

As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to clients in their own homes. Your role is crucial in assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing empathetic and attentive care, demonstrating patience and understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients in daily living activities while encouraging their independence.
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medical appointments.
  • Document and report any changes in client's health status or needs.
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental stimulation.
  • Coordinate with family members to update them on client progress and needs.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control standards.
  • Assist with mobility needs and transportation as required.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Further education in Health and Social Care preferred
Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working with elderly or disabled patients preferred.
