Job Description

We are seeking skilled Mechanical Drafters to join our engineering team. The ideal candidates will possess a keen eye for detail and thrive in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include producing accurate and detailed technical drawings and models using CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Draft mechanical components and systems using advanced CAD tools.
• Work closely with engineering teams to refine designs based on feedback.
• Prepare detailed assembly instructions and process documentation.
• Monitor the progress of drafting projects and ensure deadlines are met.
• Respond to queries regarding design issues and provide technical expertise.
• Assist in prototyping and testing to validate designs.
• Update existing designs based on new specifications or engineering changes.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior drafters as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Drafting Technology

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical drafting

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• 3D Modelling

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Time Management

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD standards: Knowledge of industry-specific CAD standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with 3D printing technologies: Understanding of additive manufacturing and its applications.
