Job Description

A Personnel Officer plays a pivotal role in managing various HR functions. This includes overseeing recruitment processes, promoting positive employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals.
  • Enhance employee relations through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate training workshops.
  • Manage payroll processes and compliance to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Maintain comprehensive HR records, tracking employee status and documentation.
  • Monitor employment law changes and advise on necessary updates to policies.
  • Compile and present HR metrics to senior management for decision-making.
  • Drive the implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification is preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in a comprehensive HR role
