Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Broadcast Manager to oversee our operations in Rotherham. You will lead a talented team in the planning and execution of broadcasts, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all broadcasting operations to ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Create engaging and innovative broadcast concepts in line with audience preferences.
  • Facilitate collaboration among creative teams for content development.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on performance metrics and viewer feedback.
  • Assist in developing strategies for enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure optimal equipment use.
  • Lead external relationships to enhance collaborative opportunities.
  • Oversee the hiring and training of new staff within the broadcasting team.
  • Assess current processes and recommend improvements to maximize effectiveness.
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevent field degree or equivalent experience
Experience
  • 5+ years in a managerial role within media or broadcasting
