Community Outreach Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team in Derby. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies that connect community members to local resources and services. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance community engagement, empowering residents through education and support programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead outreach efforts to engage underrepresented communities.
• Prepare and distribute outreach materials including brochures and newsletters.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of outreach programs on community engagement.
• Advocate for community needs and represent the organisation at public meetings.
• Coordinate volunteer recruitment and training for outreach activities.
• Develop promotional materials and manage social media communications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a non-profit setting is preferred
