Job Description
We are seeking an Urban Planner with a passion for sustainable development to join our Bath team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping urban landscapes, focusing on community needs and environmental sustainability.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of urban planning strategies and policies.
Analyze data and trends to inform planning practices.
Work closely with architects and engineers on large-scale developments.
Conduct feasibility studies for planning applications.
Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
Engage in advocacy for sustainable community planning.
Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
Present urban planning projects to city council and community meetings.
Evaluate environmental impacts of proposed projects.
Liaise with local authorities to ensure alignment with regional development goals.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning or related field
Master's degree in Urban Planning is a plus
Experience
5+ years of experience in urban and environmental planning
