We are seeking an Urban Planner with a passion for sustainable development to join our Bath team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping urban landscapes, focusing on community needs and environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of urban planning strategies and policies.
• Analyze data and trends to inform planning practices.
• Work closely with architects and engineers on large-scale developments.
• Conduct feasibility studies for planning applications.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
• Engage in advocacy for sustainable community planning.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
• Present urban planning projects to city council and community meetings.
• Evaluate environmental impacts of proposed projects.
• Liaise with local authorities to ensure alignment with regional development goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning or related field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in urban and environmental planning
