Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Charcoal Burner to operate our charcoal kilns and manage the production process. This role is critical in ensuring the quality of our charcoal and adherence to environmental compliance. You will be responsible for monitoring temperatures and airflow, as well as troubleshooting any production issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the carbonization process, ensuring efficient output.
  • Perform regular quality checks to ensure charcoal meets specifications.
  • Sanitize and organize the production area to meet health standards.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance Officer to ensure product quality.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Production Manager.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
  • Assist in training new staff on charcoal production techniques.
  • Implement improvements to increase efficiency in production.
  • Maintain clear communication with all team members.
  • Promote a culture of safety and sustainability on site.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certifications in forestry or environmental management are a plus
Experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in a relevant field
