Job Description
As a Critical Care Paramedic, you will respond to emergency calls and provide advanced life support to critically ill or injured patients. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will assess patients' conditions, administer medications, and perform essential medical procedures. This role requires a high level of skill and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Provide and maintain high standards of emergency medical care and advanced life support.
- Keep accurate records of patient assessment and treatment.
- Participate in case reviews and quality assurance projects.
- Communicate effectively with both the patients and the medical team regarding patient conditions.
- Engage in continuous professional development to keep skills and knowledge up to date.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior paramedics and trainees.
Requirements
Education
- Degree in Paramedicine or related field
