Job Description

We are searching for an enthusiastic Art Exhibit Planner to coordinate and execute engaging exhibitions. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and an inspired vision to promote artistic expression.

Responsibilities

• Design exhibition layouts that enhance visitor experience.
• Curate art collections that reflect the themes of the exhibitions.
• Organize educational programming related to exhibitions to engage diverse audiences.
• Establish and maintain relationships with sponsors and patrons.
• Monitor the condition and security of artworks during exhibitions.
• Assist in grant applications and funding proposals related to exhibitions.
• Prepare written materials for exhibitions, including catalogues and press releases.
• Evaluate the impact of exhibitions on community engagement and development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Art Management, Fine Arts, or related field
• Master's degree is an asset

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role or related position
