Transit Mix Operator

Job Description

A Transit Mix Operator is a vital role within our company, responsible for the safe operation of transit mixer trucks. The operator will ensure timely delivery of concrete to various construction sites while upholding the highest safety and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ready-mix concrete and other materials safely to construction sites.
• Provide excellent customer service during material delivery.
• Engage in routine maintenance tasks on the vehicle.
• Inspect the truck for cleanliness and safety features.
• Maintain an accurate log of all deliveries made and materials used.
• Assist in training new drivers on operational procedures.
• Help enforce company safety policies among peers.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry is preferred

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with Hydraulic Systems
• GPS Navigation

Soft Skills

• Team Player
• Problem-Solving Skills

Certifications

• Health and Safety Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Concrete Mixing: Experience or knowledge of concrete mixing processes is advantageous.
